I ordered a do it yourself home security system After trying for months after month to try to get the system to work ADT plus informs me that the home hub that they first sent me was broke and could not work which made me believe that since the sent me broken equipment they broke the contract that we had so when I tried to cancel they told me I couldn't or I would have to pay the rest of the contract. I thought that they were doing me wrong by telling me that and I wasn't going be able to pay for a security system that I was not using so I tried to resolve the problem by letting them send me out a new home hun which they did. A couple of weeks later I received a new home hub and with the help of a virtual technician tried again to install the system and even with the help from a virtual I still wasn't able to activate the system which led the technician to tell me she doesn't know what's wrong and that she never experienced something like what was going on with my case in her career so she would let the powers to be to let me cancel my account and receive a refund of the money I paid for the system and the money fee I was being charged every month even tho I had No security on my home from there system and when I tried to cancel they still wouldn't let me and I'm still going thru this problem to date which is September 18,2023 and this started in March 6,2023 Resolution Sought Cancel my account and refund my money back

When I first purchased this plan I was told that there batteries on the camera will last three months, they go dead after two weeks, they don't record when someone is at the gate ,called ADT to let them know my problem and they replace the camera. so I put the new camera up they go dead in two weeks, so I called again and took another hour to get a hold of somebody right in the middle of my conversation they hang up on me, this been going on for one year and they still haven't resolved the problem. I am paying them a $68.00 a month for there services and the camera s are still not recording. Resolution Sought I would like to end my contract and get my money back for the year I been with them.
