I ordered a pool from blue world pools and signed a contract for their midline pool. When financing called me I was convinced to upgrade to a more expensive pool. The set up was supposed to start within 30 days and be completed within 120 days. It has been 30 days already and they scheduled the installation to begin on 7/16/24. That is over 2 months since I signed the contract. But also since then I have now developed plumbing issues in my home so I called them to downgrade the pool to a less expensive pool so I can get the needed repairs done to my home. Whomever I spoke with said that someone wld call me with new financing on the less expensive pool. Instead Rob the director called trying to convince me that the less expensive pool is far more expensive in maintenance. When that didn't work he threatened to send my file to collections for $14,000 saying I signed a contract and had to abide by it. But I feel that the same way that they allowed me to upgrade I shld also be allowed to downgrade. Resolution Sought I would like to be able to downgrade the pool just as I was able to upgrade. Or cancel altogether and owe them nothing. They already got $300 from me for nothing.
