I was involved in an auto accident on 5/1/24 and the other party was at fault. I call her insurance to file a claim (la024-0003505) after speaking with adjuster from blue fire and informing them my engine light has been on since the collision in a vehicle I bought 3 days before the accident. No rental was offered. I send estimate of repairs to them from local body shop for them to send me a letter stating what they would pay to cover and what to do and that I would have to pay for rental up front then send them the invoice for reimbursement. I've called and spoke to adjuster advised I do not have a major credit card or the money to pay for a rental up front only to be told this is their policy. This wreck was not my fault nor have I ever heard of any other ins co doing this. They are responsible for my rental I have already been finding ways to and from work due to engine light on my car being on. Resolution Sought I would like for the insurance company to pay for my rental without me having to pay out of pocket or continue to find ways to and from work. This wreck was not my fault. They have inconvenienced me enough.

While I was out of state the adjustor did call leaving a message that they could not arrange a rental for me because they were not contracted with any rental company but they would send me a check for $30 a day for 4 days but they would not cover any insurance for the rental or deposit required. My vehicle is still in the body shop waiting on approval of a supplement submitted nor can I find a place that will rent a car for $30 a day. If bluefire is not contracted with any rental company then why get the benefits of a contracted rate of $30 per day. I would still be out of pocket by $18-26 a day which still I should not have to pay out of my pocket. I am back in state and plan on calling them Monday morning , I have now been without a vehicle for over a week and have no clue or how long I'll be without a vehicle. I am not coming out of my pocket for something this insurance company is responsible for at full price.

This company is incompetent, unprofessional, and doesn't want to pay valid claims. Our vehicle has been at the shop for a month and they will not pay the shop for repairs. we have full coverage, and a police report was done, which they have. They have been giving myself, and the body shop the run around. Antoneisha Moore and her supervisor, Dustin Hoffman, do not like to return phone calls, emails, or voice messages. I just want them to pay the shop for repairs, because they are not obligated to hold our vehicle a whole month waiting on the insurance company to pay for repairs. Resolution Sought Pay the shop immediately for repairs, reimburse my daughter for Uber and Lyft fees she's incurred over this month, getting back and forth to work.
