I purchased a vehicle for my fiancé on approximately December 17, 2023, and signed a binding contract. Two days later, a representative from the financial institution, Global Lending, contacted me to verify that the purchase was a gift because I had an ID on file rather than a DL. At this time, I was required to send my finances DL and a copy of the bge with her name and proof of address, which I did. My fiancé drove the vehicle without incident for over a month. On January 25,2024 I received an email stating that my financing with Global wasn't approved. We were told that Global doesn't approve loans without the borrower having a DL, and no one at the dealership or finance company realized during the initial approval that my ID wasn't an actual DL. This was carelessness, miscommunication, and inconsistent with what has been stated. My fiancé is gravely affected, as this was her way to get to work. I am embarrassed and am seeking retribution. At minimum, I want the car back and to be compensated for my inconvenience. Resolution Sought I want the car back. And financial compensation for the inconvenience. In addition. I am still waiting for my down payment to be returned.

This customer signed forms that state if the financing does not finalize though he can pay cash or bring the car back. Unfortunately, he did not pass the final lender review when it was done after the sale which is the customer interview. He is not entitled to any financial gain. His money he put down was returned and there was no charge for the use or miles put onto the car or any damage that was needed to repair the car to be put back into inventory.
