Bought a 2007 Chevy Silverado on 12/31/2020. When going thru purchase process we were told the only way we could get this truck financed with high mileage was if we purchased extended warranty. So we got the extended warranty. The Finance officer picked the package that was going to cover it. (1 yr or 18k miles engine and transmission). Truck broke and was taken to dealership service department on 04/29/2021. Never got a single call back as far as a status on it. We've been calling for about 2 1/2 months and get excuses and just got told that they or extend warranty will not do anything to fix it. Total cost to fix is around $20,,000+ for repair . The warranty is void do to exhaust delete and other modifications that where done before we purchased. They offered to give is the amount of the extended warranty back after trick broke down. Resolution Sought For them to honor the agreement. Since we felt it was necessary to have the extended warranty because of mileage. I think otherwise we would've not purchased they truck.

Company states: In the state of Oklahoma, all used cars are sold As-Is. This truck was sold with 233,264 miles on it. Client drove almost 18,000 miles since purchase date on 12-31-2020. We submitted to extended store company for authorization on repairs for issues client had with truck they denied them. We are not responsible for repairs as truck was so As Is. We will reimburse full cost of service contract of $1900 since it did not cover repair. No money will be paid for a new engine.
