we have been in business since 1992 we have never knowingly sold a vehicle with any mechanical issues and for several years have been awarded top 100 through our warranty company which goes by sales exceeding repairs. We weren't your vehicle through a third party which is cars protection plus we do this on vehicles with under 200,000 miles and no older than 20 years. On January 26th 2023 Ms. Riviera purchased a 2009 Subaru Impreza vin number ************* 3903 at the time of purchase mileage was 145,797 the price of the vehicle was $4800 which included taxes license and warranty through cars protection plus the warranty was for three months or 4500 miles. Miss Riviera informed us that there was a problem with the car at that time we gave her kens auto repairs information the shop is located 503 W Bellevue St. in Marion KY Ken has worked with the warranty company for several years at that time a claim was started for repairs the mileage was turned in and was 149,765 which miles driven was 3968 it did take longer to process the claim due to the type of motor to gain approval of the claim this was no fault of ken's auto repair or Bobby Stinnet used cars customer told both us and Ken that they had been to Texas and back with no issues once the claim was started due to the type of motor it took longer to process than usual the warranty company required a more extensive tear down on the motor this was supposed to be to be customer paid we made the decision to pay the tear down which was $583 during this process the customer called both us and the mechanic office repeatedly to inquire how the claim was going once approval for the repairs the motor was purchased through LKQ this motor had an additional six months of warranty this cost for motor and repairs was 2646 and was paid by cars protection the customer did have to pay $415 this was the deductible oil and filter in tank gasket antifreeze and taxes on repairs after having the car back for two weeks the customer called the finance company stated the car is leaking oil and needs another motor the finance company contacted ken's auto repair to check the vehicle to see what issues it was having Ken picked up the vehicle and did a thorough inspection no issues were found when pick up the they stated a check engine light was on when Ken check this was an old history code and can cleared it the finance company wanted Ken to keep it a couple of days just to make sure after a week no oil leaks were found and the car runs with no problem so finance company tried several times to get in contact with the customer when there was success the finance company repossessed the car on 5/11 for non payment if you need further information please feel free to give us a call at 270-965-9894 our hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 Saturday 8 to 12 thank you
