Some complainants allege the company fails to disclose prior to their consultation that the price of the medication or treatment could cost up to $1500. Others expressed difficulty obtaining refunds of the $175 consultation fee after treatments failed to work. Some customers complain the use of the term """"one consultation necessary"""" led them to believe their condition would be taken care of without the added expenses of future visits or costly treatments. Other complainants allege procedures are painful.~~The company generally responds by denying refunds and indicating that the consultation fee covers the test injections and future visits. They also contend that the affordability of the treatments depends on individual finances. In some cases the company explains it is unethical to disclose medication cost prior to obtaining the patient's medical history or that a prescription can be provided upon request to be filled elsewhere. They also point out that patients are fully educated about the use of the medication and their doctors test and diagnose patients prior to prescribing treatments. In one case the company states the tests may cause some discomfort which is minor and temporary. False advertising allegations are generally not addressed.
