I paid Dave Boyd $225.00 on June 4, 2021 to install my new dishwasher in the exact same spot as my old one. The guy he sent out to install the new one damaged the cabinet on the new on and it would not work. They took it our and I returned to Lowe's here in Fultondale and got my money back. I order a new GE dishwasher, advised Dave Boyd, asked him how much he was going to charge me to install the second one and he said no charge, I have already paid him for installation. I received the new, (second) dishwasher on August 15, 2021, contacted Dave Boyd to work the installation into his schedule. Three men from his company appeared at my house on August 27, 2021. I left the kitchen to allow them uninterrupted room. About 30 minutes later the youngest of the three men told me they were finished and come look. When I got to the kitchen they had connected my new dishwasher to my kitchen sink faucet and ran the electrical cord over my counter to the wall socket. One began telling me I will have to roll the dishwasher to the sink to connect, I immediately said "Oh NO I won't, for y'all were to permanently install the new one in the same spot as the old one. So, I called Dave Boyd, told him what they had done and he also said NO they were to permanently install the new on in the same spot as the old one.. He began over talking me as I was trying to work a solution so I told him to shut up so I can talk. At that point he began cursing me calling me four letter words. Resolution Sought I simply want my $225.00 returned, I will NOT allow such trash on my property. Also, I want $100.00 in interest for him keeping my installation money on the first dishwasher. Dave Boyd is NO competent professional. This person is NO Professional.
