Beware of Branson Nantucket Shady Company

My husband and I were solicited by Branson Nantucket through a mailer. They offered show tickets at a discount as long as we would schedule and sit down to a 90 minute presentation. This presentation lasted over 3 hours and there was sales pressure to buy into their several story villas they were building at the time. We also were presented with the fact that this was a way to vacation for life and it consisted of a system of "points" and could be transferred to our children/grandchildren. We also were told that should we not wish to use Nantucket as our home base or vacation spot, that we also had a company included called RCI which we could go anywhere all over the world. These people are smooth talkers who "LURE" people in with their false information that they tell prospects. We pay POA dues that started out at $399 and now they are over $1000. They practice very sneaky tactics and practice "unethical" business practices. Please before you get involved with these people, go and read about them. Total lies and unhappy people who have lost their hard earned money believing these lies. The company will not stand by what they tell you and our contract is no longer valid due to all the changes they have made without informing us. Very shady business. They will not return phone calls, emails, or answer their phones, its a recording that says they will return your call but they do not do this. Waited weeks and also being hung up on.

Please don't buy into Branson Nantucket or you'll be sorry. The Salesman told us flat out lies. We were sold points and told we can book 12 months ahead but we were only shown the "Value Points Chart", which we just thought was the value of our points, but it's really a discount points chart for left over points with a booking window of 60 days or less. We were NEVER shown the regular points chart. Had we been shown that we would have discovered that we were only buying enough points to a get 1 to 2 nights a year, but we were led to believe we had almost 2 weeks per year. We were also told that there are NO Exchange fees for domestic bookings through RCI, This is false. We were told that the owners have vote and have 90% of the vote on whether or not to raise annual dues and for special assessments. We discovered this is not true. When we confront them with these falsehoods that our Saleman presented to us, they could care less. Not only will they not consider giving us any of our money back just a few months after we purchased due to these lies, but they say we have to pay $1700 to get out of it. I don't know how they sleep at night.
