700 was my deposit upon move of this apartment complex. Refund $31.78. They charged illegal charges from my deposit to fix apartment for "damages" I DID NOT DO. I want to file a complaint. They have a 1800 582 1744 that states they will return call within 48 hours regarding concerns or complaints. I have left 5 messages starting on 12/8/2021 till today 12/27/2021 with no call back. Please let me know what can be done. Thank you. Apartment are called Sierra Oaks 3025 west christoffersen parkway Turlock California 95382 209-632-9626. Resolution Sought To hear my concerns and complaints like the 1800 said and to get more than $31 back from deposit. Thank you

Company's letter states: Sierra Oaks and I have received your complaint through Business Consumer Alliance and I am sorry to hear about your experience at Sierra Oaks. I have reached out to our management team to see exactly what happened in regard to your move out. Of the move out charges, $87.22 was for the final billing form Conservice. During your first couple months at Sierra Oaks, your account was not charge for utilities. Your utility billing is based off actual charges and usage period and utility billing is usually 1 t 2 months in arrears. The final billing was for projected usage for 11/1/21 to 12/6/21 based off your historical usage. In addition, the lease expired on 12/7/21 and your move out date was 1 day early on 12/6/21. Your account was brought current to charge through the full lease term of $51 for 12/7/21. We reviewed the move out documentation and compared these items to move in inspection report. After review we did not find any charges for items that were documented on the walk through as preexisting condition. We further reviewed and have found the move to charges were appropriate to the condition the home was returned in. However, two of our vendors were able to complete the cleaning and carpet cleaning at a lower cost. Your final account statement has been revised and a check for an additional $60 will be mailed to the forwarding address provided. I have included documentation of your walk through completed by you at move in and the move out inspection signed. Also included are photos reflecting the items resulting in charges.
