This is regarding a complaint against my previous Landlord, Briarwood terrace apartment, Prospect Heights, IL, . This is the full matter: I lived in Briarwood, Terrace Apartment, Prospect Heights, IL from 12/05/2019 till 10/05/2021. our security deposit was $400 . And while leaving the apartment I went through Home Inspection. After leaving the apartment, I receive Notice from Briarwood Apt about some charges. I agreed on all the charges, except "Repair damage to both tubs" Charges of $590. I have attached inspection report, and Inspection was done while we were leaving the apartment, and there is no where it is mention that Bath tub is broken. In Fact they just mentioned that "there are Stains in the Bath tub". they wrote it by Pencil manually. Also I have never agreed on that charges. I have not even signed that Copy. Still Briarwood Apt forced that charge on me, and sent that to the collection Department . It also affected my Credit score and affected my new lease agreements. I need my hard earned money back, which they wrongly charged on me as well as I have gone through mental torcher and so many calls from Collection departments.
