I visited Brook Run Vision Center 9335 Chamberlyne Rd on 8/10/23 to have my new prescription put in my own frames. They charged me $25.00 to use my own frames. I ask them if I need to pay for anything else; they said no, insurance will cover the rest there is no payment necessary. On 9/2/23 I received a bill for $270.00. call UnitedHealthcare insurer to question the charge. I was informed that they had double charged the Insurance Co. The agent said she will have it invested. On 9/21/23 I received a bill saying No Payment Necessary. On10/20/23 I received a bill for $210.00 balance due. I called the insurance Co. Again, she checked my profile found I only owed $110.00. This bill is questionable and this business needs to be investigated. Resolution Sought The insurance co states I only owe them $110.00 and this is what I am willing to pay.

Company states; Eyeglass claim was resubmitted through her insurance leaving a $210.00 balance. Patient paid balance on 11/8/23. Thank you, Brook Run Vision Center
