I am a resident of Treehaven mobile home park. I have lived here at the same address since January of 2019. In the last 3 years I have paid my water bill to Ky American water in Lexington Ky for my water service. I was NOT made aware that a separate company managed my sewer service. My landlord Danny Igo of Treehaven called me 2 weeks ago and made me aware that I was behind on my sewer bill I had no idea about. I made payment arrangements with Danny Igo to get caught up in the past due amount. Danny told me that HE actually PAYS the sewer bill for the ENTIRE trailer park. He went on to say that BRS mangmt handles the sewer billing for him and I actually owe Danny Igo this past due amount. My arrangement to get caught up on my balance was to pay $200 each month and it is to be paid to Danny Igo separate from lot rent. Today KYAmerican Water employee came put to disconnect my water due to my past due sewer balance. When I contacted BRS management they told me all disconnects were approved through treehaven office. I am one of 14 other residents of treehaven having this same problem. My service was disconnected and to restore my service BRS mgmt wants a full payment of $1593 plus a $90 reconnect fee. So now I am left without the means to pay over $1600 to get my water reconnected. BRS Mgmt refused to make payment arrangements and surprise, I had no idea there was even a possibility of disconnection, especially after I had made arrangements with my landlord for this. HELP!! Resolution Sought Provide me with a paper bill that shows what I owe for sewer service. Since i know now, after 3 years here , that the sewer is not included with my water. I would like my payment arrangement I made with my landlord to be accepted by BRS mgmt and my services restored as soon as possible. My water bill from KY American water is up to date. How can they shut off a customers water service from another business.
