On November 23 ,2023 I hired Buckeye Barndominiums to build an addition on my porch. At that time I gave Kelly Basham the owner $5000.00 deposit, with the understanding that my project would begin on or about February 2023. Since February I have had several start dates and to no avail my project is still not started. I have tried several times to contact the company by calling the business number and you are asked to leave a message or you can text them at this number. I was able to talk to Debbie Basham when I was getting the estimate , and that was the last time that I spoke to anybody person to person. Finally after several texts to them and nothing but broken promises , I asked to have my money refunded on August 9th so I can go elsewhere On August 14th, Debbie replied that Kelly would begin in September and at that time I told her that I would like to have my money refunded. Still no response until August 21 I told her that I had no choice but to go to BBB/and or a lawyer. Debbie responded by telling me that Kelly was going to reach out to me and at this point still no call or response from Kelly. I have saved all my text messages back and forth between Debbie and myself Resolution Sought I would kindly like to have my money returned

Company states; We are planning exactly that. We are waiting on funds to do that. Either end of October or Mid November. I want to apologize for the Company and making a mess out of this. We owe Stephanie and we will pay her, just can't give exact timeframe. Sincerely, Debra
