I put a down payment on a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. As well as purchasing their insurance from the dealership just to drive off the lot that you did not have to keep because you could get your own. The 5 months i had the car I had a lot of repairs needed on the car and paid over $2,000. The car began to overheat so i contacted the dealership about all the repairs to see if their onsite mechanic could look at the car and fix it. I told them i would have my mechanic look at it first to see everything that's wrong with the car to have a list for the dealership to look over. The dealership agreed. When my mechanic came to look at the car he discovered the mileage was rolled back more than 53,000 miles. The next day i contacted the dealership about the mileage rolled back and told them about the issue and asked if they could put me in a different vehicle because i felt that it was a breach of contract since i didn't sign up to buy a car with that many miles. The dealership said they would contact owner and see what they could do and get back to me. Before ending the call they asked where the car was located. I told them it was at my home thinking it was information they needed. An hour later a tow truck was picking up my car for repossession not to be fixed. When i contacted the dealership back that i had been talking to for the last couple days they told me they only told me they were contacting the owner so they could find where the car was at to have it repossessed quickly. Resolution Sought Return money that was paid towards the car for fraudulent activity and breach of contract. Down payment, car note payments and repairs that i paid for out of pocket.
