I bought a used 2007 Acura MDX from Butler Auto Sales in Concord in October for $13,000 and felt the price was too high and today went to the Edmunds website to get an estimate for the vehicle and the price was quoted at $6,500 so I ended up paying twice true value. I did like the suv but I feel like I was ripped off. I did try to lower the price by a few thousand dollars but the dealer refused. I feel he overcharged me a lot for this vehicle. Resolution Sought I feel I should be given some of the cost back. Paying twice the price for the true value is not right.

Company states: This customer is truly misinformed. He bought an Acura MDX, like new condition for around Kelley Blue Book 8 months ago. He is unhappy because he says the vehicle does not get as good of gas mileage as he thought it would. He should check with Honda Motor Cars if he is unhappy. They are the ones that built it. Also, Edmunds is not the true value of vehicle in California. The $13,000.00 was out the door price, including tax & license to the state of CA 93% He should take that up with the state Board of Equalization. I consider this matter closed.

Edmunds reviews car values on thousands of vehicles and that's the business they are in. There is no reason not to believe and they do ask several questions about the cars condition so I do believe the value they estimated is correct. Bottom line is I can not sell the vehicle for close to what I paid so let's be honest about the cars value. I do believe the Edmunds estimate.
