ordered impression kit 05/16 purchase 06/04 $3298.00 received aligners 06/11 09/01 first complaint of fitment well over 30 emails of complaints 2 chat requests 2 phone calls (only one answered) march 16th received email saying As your Byte aligners are a custom-made medical treatment, once they have been purchased, we are not able to provide a refund again on the 18th Peyton, Thank you for replying! We apologize for any frustration this may have caused. In order to be evaluated for a possible refund we will need the following information. As this is a medical service, you can only be released from our treatment under direct medical recommendation. We will require formal documentation stating that you need to cease treatment. This must be outlined in a letter from your local dentist or doctor on their official letterhead and include the following: * Doctor or dentist's name * Your name * Date of visit/Date of letter You can attach this letter as a PDF or photo. and after pressing what is the point of going out of my way to go to the dentist and getting a release of treatment just to not receive a refund, this is what I was told later on the 18th. Thank you for replying! We apologize for any frustration this may have caused. Hi, I purchased the Byte aligner system in August 2020. I did not have success with the aligners as they did not fit properly enough to move my teeth the way they advertised. I reached out for additional aligners in February 2022 and still did not have success. I discontinued wearing the aligners as I felt they were potentially causing more damage to my teeth and gums than benefit. I requested a refund from Byte which they declined to give me. They are forcing customers to sign a safety disclaimer they sent in November 2024 before they will offer full customer service. This is borderline extortion to have customers sign an acknowledgement before they will consider a refund. Resolution Sought I would like a full refund for the Byte aligner program I purchased since it did not work as advertised.
