Purchase vehicle on November 2, 2022. The following week, it put me down, had it towed to Road Mart. The car was in the shop for over a month. A month after being in the shop, picked it up from Jim Whaley Tires. The very next day, I had to take it back. Mr. Morris at C&H auto Troy Al, told me he was not going to spend any money on the car. I have been stranded four times and have had it towed, and I really need help because I feel like I was treated unfairly with this vehicle. Resolution Sought I would like the business to repair it, or trade it in for another vehicle.

Company Response

The complainant purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox on September 2, 2022. The vehicle was purchased "AS-IS" with the option to purchase a service warranty. The complainant declined to get the service warranty although she was informed multiple times the benefits of the warranty, specifically since the vehicle had been traded in and was 12 years old. She still declined to purchase and chose to only get the GAP insurance. The complainant called the next week and said the vehicle would not work. We had her tow the vehicle to Roadmart since they previously inspected it. We were told the engine needed replaced and the vehicle needed a starter. C & H Auto Sales paid to have the engine replaced as well as the starter. All as a courtesy being she was a previous customer. Not long after, the complainant called again and said the vehicle was running hot. She took the vehicle back to be inspected again. At that time we were informed the complainant, herself had put too much oil in the vehicle which caused the issue. We then had the oil drained and replaced. At that time we also paid to replace the water pump in the vehicle. The complainant called again, and was told there is nothing else we could do. We went over and beyond to satisfy her even though she puchased the vehicle "AS-IS".
