I have been a tenant at this address for 2 lease agreements, but under a different management company. March is when CAF management came to take over property. There system couldn't process the allocated water bills so for April they didn't have the total amount. My roommate and I paid $1915 leaving a portion that being water. For April I set up automatic payments for April and May like I have always done for 2 leases, as well as being aware of unpaid water bill for March CAF had no amount to give us. April was paid forward with all water charges. May 1st I was admitted to hospital by the 4th my situation became an immediate emergency. Well, I set up auto pay so the website showed zero balance as my payment of $1015 and my roommates payment of $1168 was paid. Much to my surprise, the system had an error and payment was not applied. I left several messages from hospital to reach out but was unsuccessful in my attempts. So upon discharge I went to office to discuss the matter. From the beginning they didn't want to talk about the late fees. They stated it is not there fault even though the system way not set up correctly on their arrival. Now, since the 5/11/2024 I made numerous attempted to get the charges removed but no one wanted to conduct business with me! Then I told them that I may want to renew my lease for a 3rd this me they told me I had to start as a new tenant by paying an application, administration fee, deposit, and transfer fee! This is not right or legal Resolution Sought Wave the $182, so I can pay my last month on my contract, they have already forced a person with a disability to homelessness! I am sustaining a wrongful eviction that I need removed as of today.
