Bought a motor to be put in and took almost 2 years to get the truck back and had to make a call to him and he talked about my husband he didn't know I wasn't listening said it was a 90 year old man and he is only 89 and didn't have the money to pay and we already had paid him over 2 000.00 dollars at the time and he said he had cut the wire harness and cobbled it up and all it has is a toggle switch to turn on to start he didn't even show 200.00 he said he would pay him for cutting the grass at his garage he took that off the truck he told me that I was a smart mouth and I was just taking up for my husband. Also I would call and ask him every other week if they have worked on it knowing that they hadn't even touched it he would brush me off and say we will work on it next week and next week never came. That is not good for business. Also him talking to someone he doesn't know and telling them is a privacy and he shouldn't have told how old he was. He had no money to pay he was poor, and he cobbled up the wires and couldn't fix it and had someone there going to buy it when my husband was there to pay for something that was not even fixed not worth even paying for he had to work on some things after he got the truck back and he is not a good business owner for not working on something and have it running especially paying for a motor. Resolution Sought Give us our money back because I really don't think a motor was put in or it should have been running and give an apology for overcharging us and saying we were poor, and I don't want him talking about us like dogs. I feel like everyone is equal and no better than anyone else. Also it depends on you are how they work on your vehicle and it should be as they come in and do the work right so you get what you paid for, his truck won't run

I have known Mr. Burgess for a very long time. We were trying to save him some money on this repair as major repair. It needed a new motor. When truck brought in told no problem on time. It was at the shop for quite a while before finished. After the new motor it was running fine. A few weeks later, he comes back and He had messed with the truck. We got it running again for him. Every time he left here in the truck, he would go mess with it again. I would never put a toggle switch on a fuel pump. He did that. The last time he called it would not start. We picked up the truck, put a new battery in and towed it to his house for him. It was again, running fine. I towed it to him so he did not have to drive me back to shop, I was not paid for that battery or my time. Trying to save someone money is not saying they are poor. He did cut down some weeds at the shop and we did take some $ off the repairs for that. We stopped him from doing further weed whacking as we were afraid he would get hurt. I have been nothing but nice to this man. As I said, I have known him for years. I did not and would not say anything bad about him to his wife or anyone else. We did not over charge him and if he had left the truck alone, it would have been fine. Thank you.
