I rate Camera & Camcorder Repair Center the WORST experience I've had in over 35 years of business. On a recommendation I sent my Panasonic Lumix S1 for repair on October 10, 2021. The camera would not turn on and C&CRC said they needed to replace the main circuit board. You can only communicate with Camera & Camcorder Repair via their website https://camerarepair.com. Once they received my camera they said it normally takes 5-7 business days to complete the work. I have contacted them every month since and now it's May 12, 2022. It's been 7 months!!! On November 23, 2021 they said the part was on backorder and the ETA for repair would be 12/11/21. In December of 2021, they said it would be fixed by 1/8/22. On 1/29/22 they said it would be fixed by 2/10/22. Then they said it would be fixed by 4/5/22. On April 11, I asked them to return my camera un-repaired. On April 19, 2022, they finally replied to my email to say "Hi there. Your product will be shipped back to you. Please allow for adequate time to process this shipment. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Camera Repair Center Service Management." On 4/28/22 I asked via email and their website if the camera had been shipped yet....got no reply. And finally today, 5/12/22, I sent my last request to them wanting to know if they have shipped my camera yet. No response. Resolution Sought In effect, they have stolen my camera and will not return it.

This company never informed me that the part was no longer available. A simple Google search of reviews will show that dozens of other customers have been fed the same line. It seems like some sort of scam. Their communication is delayed and often no reply is made. This is the worst service experience I've ever experienced. Yes, I just received the camera today and will send to an authorized Panasonic Service Center from now on
