I was shopping for insurance in September and went to Cameron Clark Farmers insurance. I got a verbal quote and told them I'd let them know. A few weeks later I got a policy in the mail. They misrepresented several things on the policy. Credit score, length of residence, and accident record for a few. The result was a very costly policy with very little coverage. I immediately informed them that I did not want the policy and had no desire to do business with them because of the deception. They assured me the policy would be cancelled. The next month , I received a bill from Farmers for insurance I did not want or have. I called the billing office on the bill and explained that I did not have insurance with them, and to stop sending bills to me. After about thirty minutes on hold, they told me that the policy was cancelled and I would not hear from them again. The next month, I received a bill for $131.39 for a cancellation fee. I asked them why there was a cancellation fee for a policy I never had. After about thirty minutes, they told me that the policy was cancelled and I would not hear from them again. That remains to be seen. I am not expecting compensation. I just want the harassment to stop. Resolution Sought Stop harassing me for money I don't owe.

Per consumer: I haven't received any more bills from Farmers Insurance since I filed the complaint. I can only assume that they are going to stop bothering me, which is all I wanted. Thank you for your help in this matter.
