I taking my car, to have some work done in mid February of this year. I dropped my car off on a Friday and I was told that they wouldn't be able to get to it until that next week. Since I haven't heard back from them I decided to give them a call that last week of February no one answered so I left a message and I still didn't hear anything back. So I called again in the middle of March this time I spoke with someone they told me that the person that took my car in no longer works there I began to ask him about my car he told me that he has several cars ahead of me which I was not told that when I dropped my car off I told him the exact same thing I told the person before him that that is my only mean of transportation and that I needed my car back as soon as possible he said he was going to check into that and get back with me months pass I haven't heard anything I sent my friend u to check on my car he reported back to me telling me my car have mildew all inside of it due to the weather it got wet inside and that was the reasons why I took my car there in the first place because of the windows wouldn't go up they are causing me more money to catch rides to work then it would to fix my car and this is unacceptable I'm paying for Uber rides and Insurance as well here I am 8 months later still no car if they was going to keep my car this long they should have offered me a rental please help me. Resolution Sought I would like for you all to find out why is my car just sitting there when I was told that cars has been coming in and out and they never once taken a look at mines. 8 months is unacceptable I shouldn't have to pay them anything do to all the insurance I had to pay for a car that's just sitting there and all the Uber ride I had to catch to work I am very disappointed in this business that's supposed to be a professional successful business.

Mrs. Rains vehicle was dropped off at our dealership on 03/10/22 without an appointment. AT that point we notified Mrs. Rains as we explain to all of our Audi customers that were extremely backed up with work and we did not have an estimated time frame of when we would be able to diagnose her vehicle. We explained that we were experiencing an industry wide Technician shortage and this is one of the main reasons that was the situation. At the point Mrs. Rains vehicle was dropped off we had a large back log of vehicles here waiting to get into the shop. We did get the vehicle in and performed some diagnoses and ordered parts for the vehicle which were on back order. Another reason some of our clients vehicles are here for extended time frames which we have no control over. The manufacturers are experiencing issues retrieving parts from their vendors, which of course causes a major delay for parts orders to come in. We try to repair our clients vehicles as quickly as possible and in the order they come into the shop and when parts become available. Unfortunately we have other vehicles here as long and some longer for these same reasons. Mrs. Rains vehicle is in the shop and has been for weeks now waiting on the technician to complete another vehicle that has been here longer. As soon and that vehicle is complete the Technician will be back on to Mrs. Rains vehicle. Mrs. Rains did request a loaner vehicle but with the industry chip shortages our dealership was unable to replace the loaner vehicles that came out of service due to lack of inventory so I was unable to furnish her a vehicle.
