Customer Complaint

We hire Capital Construction to reside our house. From the get go the so-called project manager was an idiot, no communication with the staff doing all the work. Materials weren't delivered as we were told. Trying to exit home was unbearable for me at times as staging blocked both entrances. Our major problem now us the paint used on front and side doors. The casings around the small windows is melting and separating from windows. I was informed by Behr Paint headquarters on California that painting plastic without a primer, this can happen. So, Capital Construction didn't properly prepare the plastic casings before painting. I am holding them negligent and responsible for damages to our 2 entrance doors. It's hard to put a price on oain, suffering, aggressive due to no response from Capital Construction. Resolution Sought I want Capital Construction to replace both casings on front and side doors.

Company states: Capital Construction has been in close communication with this customer informing her that the damage she sent us on the photo attached in not paint related as stated in her complaint and appears to be damage to her casing on her door. This is not the responsibly of Capital to repair. This has been communicated to the customer by our Team .

I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner. My husband and I have been stressing over the damages yo our 2 entry doors it's taken a toll on my health. You see, we are both over 65 and money is tight since I retired. Capital Construction never even had the decency to respond to calls and texts my husband sent. We have to replace these doors and it's costing my husband $13,000.00, we're at our wits end. Where do we go from here?

As mentioned, previously - there is no doors on the contract. Capital only painted and primed these doors, and any alleged damage would have happened after any work was performed by our company. The picture of damage sent by the customer is broken casing which has nothing to do with our company. We have a sign completion cert from the customer upon completion of the paint project . This has been communicated many times to the customer and at no point was the customer left with no response. Any damaged caused to these doors following our paint project with a signed off completion cert is not the fault of Capital Construction .
