We paid $30k for a roof and dormer fall 2023. The materials purchased were not all used (no ridge cap on the peak, only thin folded facia because the ridge cap came the wrong color. 2 difference sizes of rake edge) The job was left incomplete.. Countless nails after being told they would be picked up. Most importantly, the roof leaks causing damage to our drywall and flooring! The business was extremely unprofessional/unprepared in every aspect. Used our equipment and we helped make material runs, etc. Didn't show up consistently, left trash, burned scrap in our yard. Our dog cut their foot on scrap left behind, resulted in stitches. Paul refuses to answer or send money to have job completed. "It's winter works slowing down, I have no money" "it's spring, work hasn't picked up yet" "my son is a drug addict, I can't pay you because I need to help him" "I'll send money what's your address"(at least 5 times, no check comes" or just refuses to answer, but when he does it's anything to get me off of the phone. He has been hiring fraudulent contractors to work under his business/insurance. Our roofer had a cease and desist order from the DA for taking money and leaving jobs incomplete. Which is exactly what Paul has done. His workers told us also he was in court often for the very same thing. After having the roof torn off, in the fall, with winter coming (and did come during) it's difficult to check over work until a clear day, that's how they got paid on the last day. Resolution Sought We need this refunded so we can pay to have our roof done the right way. Not by them!
