I've been trying to get answers from Capital Vacations for months and they continue to ignore me. I bought this timeshare in 2023 because the sales team promised me that my maintenance fees would stop after 8 months. That's now apparently a lie. Not only did the fees keep coming, but extra ones came up that nobody ever explained to me. It's also gotten worse. I found out they hit my credit report with $13,000 worth of debt. I have no idea how they even got to that number, and they won't send me a breakdown of the charges. The next part is that they sent me a certified letter saying my "Member Beneficiary Rights" are cancelled. So, they've taken away my right to use the resort, but they're still trying to charge me $13,000 for it? That doesn't make any sense. I'm a small business owner and I'm already under a lot of stress. I can't have this debt hanging over my head when they've already ended my membership. I need them to explain these charges and fix my credit report immediately since I no longer have any "rights" to this ownership anyway. Resolution Sought Since they already cancelled my usage rights, this debt should be removed or settled for a fair amount that reflects what I was actually promised. I don't think I should have to pay anything, but none of this is worth the thousands of dollars they want from me.

We desperately need any help we can get communicating with Capital Vacations. They managed to turn a brief inquiry into an opportunity to take advantage of us. We were originally concerned with the flexibility of our ownership and discussed previous issues. We were sold more points under the idea that they were needed to resolve our issues; however, not only did they fail to fix anything, but they also created an unpayable debt for something we can't use. Everything we were assured of regarding ownership (flexibility, value, availability, fixed fees, rentals) was completely fabricated. The most frustrating thing is that we immediately reached out to the sales team calling and emailing about cancelling and not moving forward, however we were ignored. In our communications with Capital, we were told we are outside the "recession" period. We weren't at the time we started this process, it only passed when they responded. Resolution Sought Contract cancellation
