I took my Subaru into Subaru shop back on march of 2021. The service technicians said my engine needed to be rebuilt or replaced. They quoted $5500 for the labor and parts. After working on it they charged me over $10000. The engine lights came on as soon as I started driving it and it was making a notable knocking sound which I took videos of for evidence and took it too another shop for a review which they noted the knocking too. I took it into Subaru who said the engine light was for my throttle body and said the engine made no knocking sounds. They wanted me to pay for 1200 more work. So I took it back in again. They said nothing about a throttle body and said my engine needed to be flushed for $250. Said they didn't hear the knocking again. Now everyone I've consulted including the guy I rent from who was the head of ODOT Ricardo L. has said I should get a complaint filed since they are not helping and to contact lawyer. They also charged me for 2 hours of labor gator a defective airbag recall they told me to come in and get replaced and that it wouldn't cost anything. Then charged me $300 for labor and now can't provide the receipt. I've got receipts and all the evidence needed for an open shut case and proof of wrong doing. Resolution Sought I want them to fix my engine work that I paid for, or compensate me. I gave them over $10000 for a working engine. I haven't been able to put more than 1000 miles on it. I need a car to get to the doctor as I blew out both my knees and I cannot be stuck on the side of the road. I cannot push the car. I do not want to go through legal but I will if this isn't fixed. This is wrong. Period.
