First I wanna start off with having to pay twenty dollars each for me and my boyfriend because we are under 21 , which didn't make sense to me because its a restaurant not a club. After being seated we were then asked to give a ID and a credit card but the woman didn't explain why. I thought nothing of it because i was ready to eat . I was seated with 6 people. After 30 minutes of waiting on a waitress we finally were able to order. The food came in a timely matter and i was highly satisfied. I had my boy friends sister tag along once we moved to the dance floor , by then the waitress had issued out tickets for each person. Thinking nothing of it 4 people had already left the restaurant. When I got ready to pay for my food so that I could get my belongs back i was told i had to pay for those who didn't pay for their food and alcohol. I was born on January 8th, 2002, which means as of March 16, 2022 I am Twenty years old. According to the law you cannot drink under the age of twenty - one and I'm also four months pregnant. I would like to know how and why am i the one responsible for others leaving and not paying , and also purchasing alcoholic beverages while being considered a minor. I will be more than happy to send in a picture of my photo ID and credit card transactions for my evening I spent at Carporales Mexican Restaurant. Resolution Sought I just want my money that I was wrongfully charged for. I have a whole newborn on the way. That was apart of my savings that i had to spend. They have cameras I'm sure you can ask to see them and see where i had no dealings with alcohol or the people who didn't pay.

To whom it may concern Coparales would like to thank you for coming out to visit our establishment. Our policy states that with parties six or more we require a I.D. and source of card to be held on file until everyone with the party has paid their ticket. The I.D. and card are stored in our register until everyone with the party has paid. This was put in place due to so many customers with parties walking out without paying their tab. This was explained to Ms. Bell friends before her arrival because they stated they had two other people that was coming and would make them have a party of six and the other person would be the one to proceed with the card and I.D., with that being stated her friends where seated. Upon Ms. Bell's arrival the host escorted her to the table of four and explained to her that the policy states with six or more we require a I.D. and credit card to be put on file until everyone has paid their tab. Ms. Bell stated that is fine and presented the I.D. and card. In response to Ms. Bell's statement, she just gave her card up not knowing why because she was hungry, is erroneous, no one would just give their belongings up and have not clarification to why. When Ms. Bell proceeded to check out, she was told she needed to have the other guest that was with her party pay for their tab first, she stated they had already left the restaurant. Ms. Bell was asked if she could get into contact with them to let them know they had left without paying their tab. Ms. Bell stated she did not know their number. This is the reason why we explain this to all our customers with parties of six or more. Finally, Ms. Bell stated to go ahead and charge the card after time passed. Ms. Bell's party left Caporales without paying their tab, Ms. Bell's friends are responsible for the 126.83 due to they walked out without paying their tab after the policy of the restaurant was stated to each one.
