I went to Carmart to see about purchasing a car for my daughter. I test drove a 2014 Chevy Cruze. The price that they quoted me was $4999. When we got ready to sign the papers for the car they realized that they did not have the title. Brandon Clarke the manager said they had to file for a lost repo title and that it should come in within a week. I told Brandon Clark if he can get the title I wanted the car. I called the next week to see if they received the title and Brandon Clark said the title has not came in that he would call me when it does. I called the next week which was October 26th 2021. I talk to the sales lady Bailey and she told me that they had the title there that they gave me the wrong price for the car. The car that they were trying to sell me was in the shop. A car that I never even test-drove and wasn't trying to purchase that car and at the time they already sold the car that I was trying to purchase and never called and let me know anything. I went to Carmart Friday October 29th 2021 to see about getting my money back which was $100. The manager was not there so I had to talk to the assistant manager. She said she had to get it okay for me to get my money back it usually takes about two days. I called 11/1/2021 Brandon Clark the manager and he told me that I could not get my $100 back for the down payment because the 10-day grace period already ended but the car was already sold before the 10 days and no call? Please Help!! Resolution Sought I would like to get my hundred dollars back. I feel as though I got scammed and the business is not being very professional.
