Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

Purchased a premium car warranty from Carchex for my 1998 Ford E150 wheelchair van three years ago. Purchased on October 17th, 2018. The expiration date was on November 17th, 2021. The warranty covered: engine, transmission, cooling system, electrical, air conditioning, suspension and other items. I have made numerous attempts to repair my vehicle using this contract but car dealers and local mechanics will not accept the warranty. In October 2021 Pepboys in Franklin Square NY was the only shop that would take the warranty but they lied and refused to repair my vehicle. The did not want to complete the repair work under the warranty. I requested to have my AC, power door locks, suspension and other items repaired but they only checked the brakes that was not covered. My van was at their shop for a week and they refused to fix it. Contacted Carchex about the problem and they refused to investigate the repairs. I asked for a refund from Carchex and they ignored me for several mouths. A manager named Patterson just laugh at me over phone insulting me that I'm a disabled person. Resolution Sought I would like a full refund. If no refund then they should honor their warranty to fix my vehicle.
