Dear Jocquice - Thank you for providing your feedback. The vehicle you purchased from CarHop on 01/04/24 included both a 7-day money back guarantee and an 18-month / 18,000-mile limited warranty. Since you purchased the vehicle, our records do not show that we have received any vehicle diagnosis regarding any vehicle issues. To best assist you, Sandi Zajec, CarHop Branch Manager, spoke with you on 03/04/25 and discussed a plan to assist you. The first step in the limited warranty process is to get the vehicle diagnosed at a CarHop-approved service shop. As a courtesy, Sandi offered to pay for the cost of the diagnosis and review options with you once the diagnosis is completed. CarHop will continue to honor the limited warranty. Please work together with Sandi directly on the next steps. Thank you for doing business with CarHop.

Leased a car from them. Went to shop in daytime so didn't know the headlights didn't work. They had the high beams on when I test drove the car but as I previously mentioned it was daylight out so I just turned the high beams off not knowing that was my only source of light for the car. Went back the next day to inform them they stated headlights aren't covered under warranty but the headlights never worked. Fine I only drive the car in the daytime no big deal. Drove the car a month and a half after water pump went out which is covered under warranty they end up replacing engine took over a month to replace to get it back and the check engine light was flashing called and told them the had me take it to a different shop who informed me the throttle body is bad called car hop and was told that's not covered but yet it's apart of the engine. Basically they knew the car was no good but sold it anyway the headlights alone not working is a hazard. Resolution Sought Fix the car so it's safe to drive on the road.

Dear BCA, I am writing in response to the Business Consumer Alliance (BCA) Complaint # 99016256 from Niketa. Niketa purchased a Lincoln MKZ from CarHop on 08/04/23, and the Retail Installment Contract was assigned to Universal Acceptance Corporation (MN) d.b.a. CarHop Finance. The vehicle included a 7-day money back guarantee and an 18 month / 18,000-mile limited warranty. While it is unfortunate when any customer has mechanical issues, unforeseen issues can occur with a used vehicle. Our records show CarHop has honored its limited warranty. The current estimate CarHop received is for repairs which are not covered under the limited warranty. Amanya Bagutti, CarHop Manager, spoke with Niketa on 02/23/24. While under no obligation to do so and solely as a courtesy to Niketa, CarHop agreed to pay for the parts of the non-covered repairs and Niketa agreed to pay for the labor. In addition, Amanya went a step further and coordinated for half of Niketa's next scheduled car payment to be deferred to the end of the contract. Niketa accepted this as a fitting solution. Please contact me with any questions. Sincerely, Eric Wanek [email protected]
