I purchased a 2020 GMC Acadia from Carite in Chesterfield, MI on 12/31/2022. I woke up on Friday, July 21, 2023 and the truck would not start. I had it towed to Carite in Madison Heights, MI since the Chesterfield, MI is closed now. They tried to install a starter but the truck still will still not start. I had to pay $100.00 deductible even though the problem was never fixed and then I had to have it towed on my expense to a GMC dealership in Troy, MI. Today is Thursday, August 10, 2023 and I still do not have my truck back. It's really frustrating because they did not even give me a loaner car. I am paying a rental car that's costing me so much money. GMC has had my truck since July 26, 2023 and they haven't even started working on my truck to see why it will not start. I'm not getting any updates on the status of my truck. I'm not sure what I am to do next. I'm paying for a truck that I cannot even operate. I want Carite to find out what's going on or replace my truck because it doesn't seem like it's being fixed.
