I bought a new 2024 AT4X AEV edition 2500 truck. When the dealer found the truck with all the options that I was looking for he told me that the truck they found was being driven by the dealer and it would have about 800 miles on it when I get it and asked if that would be ok. I said as long as the truck is flawless because I paid for a brand new truck and he assured me that it would look the same as one with 2 miles. They get the truck and call us to go in to finish all the paperwork and pick the truck up. When we pull in I see the truck sitting there but I immediately notice what turned out to be stone chips all the way down the drivers side, so I start inspecting the truck and see the exact same thing on the passengers side. I tell my wife that I'm not taking that truck it's all chipped up and we bought a new truck not a used one that's already got stone chips all over it. I go inside and I'm greeted by the salesman and I immediately tell him that I'm not taking that truck and told him why and he went outside with the manager and initially tried to tell me that it was just wax that they didn't take off and I said no way I've already felt the stone chips and it's deep into the paint. The manager then said we will have those stone chips repaired and not to worry about them. I take the man's word and we complete all the paper work and leave. After leaving I was happy with the exception of the truck having all these stone chips. The next day I'm on the bed of t Resolution Sought I would like them to take it to a shop of my choice have have the necessary repairs made. I've already left them take it to their shop and the repairs were not made and definitely not in a timely manner.
