Our Chevy Spark had a new transmission installed in March of 2019 at this dealership. It recently died on the road and was brought to a Chevy dealer in Tulsa Ok. They proceeded to change the transmission fluid and found metal shavings and the wrong color fluid in it. According to the paperwork from 2019 the fluid should have been green/ blue. The fluid that came out if it was red. No one else has serviced this transmission and we have Carfax reports showing everything that has been worked on. I spoke with Jeremy Burk on 8/29/22 at the Waxahachie dealership. He stated that his " proof" that they didn't put the wrong fluid in was that his mechanic was too experienced and their recording system was "foolproof". I stated that my "proof" was that the wrong fluid came out of the car. I have tried to call the Chevy helpline but it keeps asking for a zip code and trying to sent me to the same dealership that's denying they did anything wrong. Resolution Sought I would like them to replace the transmission free of charge since the incorrect fluid was used. Both the mechanics in Waxahachie and Tulsa agreed that the wrong fluid would be damaging to the car. The Waxahachie service department refuses to accept responsibility buy they were the last ones to work on the transmission before the Tulsa mechanics draining it.
