I helped my daughter Vivian, who is 20 years old purchase her first car, a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited on 3/18/2023 from a used car dealership named Cars Auto Mall located at 7226 US-301 S, Riverview, FL 33578. My wife Ruth is also co-signer for Vivian. Vivian put $1500 down and financed almost $16,000. Vivian purchased an extended limited warranty included in the financing. On 3/18/2023 we texted the salesperson Kate and told her the car was acting weird and it shut off at a light while my daughter was driving to work but we didn't get her response on time so I took it to my mechanic - Hancock Tire & Auto, located at 10922 Bloomingdale Ave, Riverview, FL 33578 and at that time they couldn't find anything wrong with it. On Mother's Day- May 14, 2023, Vivían came home from Walmart and the car shut off in our driveway after parking it and rolled backwards. On 5/25/2023 we had to have the car towed to our mechanic again because it left my daughter Vivian stranded at work when she clocked out at 10pm and couldn't drive home so I picked her up and left the car overnight. The electric parking brake was engaged and would not release. We called the warranty company and found out that it's limited and only covers engine, transmission and radiator but nothing electrical so they denied the claim and Vivian had to pay $250 for a tow truck and did not get reimbursed. Any future monies spent to seek a resolve with no be covered and would need to be out of pocket expenses with no reimburse Resolution Sought Car repossessed and taken back by bank (Westlake Financial) and loan forgiven with no negative impact to credit , reimbursement of tow truck fees, reimbursement of AAA membership, reimbursement of Uber and/or Lyft taken to work and real estate school by Vivian, have dealership remove any reviews posted during initial time of sale
