I was at hooters on Lee high way Saturday at 6.45 I called to go home I'm crippled and can't walk good they said a bus was coming I waited it came and past me up I called they told me I had to wait in the road but on Lee high way there are no side walks I was about 40,ft from the street inside the parking lot of hooters I called back to see if they were coming back the guy hung up onr I had to walk from hooters to the bus stop at Eastgate it had to be over a mile it took me over 2 hours then go to brainerd and German town at that point I got off and walked to Gillespie road which is at least 7 blocks to get home it took me another 2 hours I fell 2 or 3 times it was about 11pm Sat when I got home my problem is walking if I don't set down after about 30ft I fall for a cripple getting up id not easy I don't understand why u can let this happen Resolution Sought Not let this happen again I'm 74 yrs old can't see good I have to depend on the carta go to get me from place to place but if I had another way I would take it.

CARTA has no record of this trip request in our CARTA GO system unfortunately and therefore unable to document what exactly may have occurred. CARTA GO is a "corner-to-corner-" system and riders are directed to a specific pick-up location that is accessible by the CARTA GO vehicle. CARTA does not normally use private parking lots for vehicle operations and riders are typically routed to the nearest street or intersection for pick up. Mr. Dudley has an active account and has successfully completed several trips since the date of this occurrence. CARTA recognizes and does everything possible to meet the needs of all our riders and especially those with disabilities. We apologize for any inconvenience and will review this report with all customer service agents.
