On 6/16/2023 I purchased a 2019 Dodge Ram. The sales man took me for a test drive, as we were driving the computer system keep shutting down. He tells me he test the system. I took his word a face value. So I bought the truck. 2 days later I find it was a short in the console. So I contacted autoplaza and brought it back talk to Mike Price, he tells me he would get an appointment set up. Never happened. So I have the truck 3 weeks go to get tags put on it find that the title,an inspection is out of date.so I contact Dave and Mike and they try saying it's my fault for not registering it within the 10 days after purchase. They did not tell me anything about the short period I had to get the issue resolved. So now I come back to the car lot bring in paperwork he's like let me see the paper. So now they take it to get it inspected. Don't know about the title yet. Or the computer system Resolution Sought Fix the issue resolved the problem not at my cost they knew the truck had issues before they sold it to me.

Mr. King signed receiving his title well before this complaint was filed. As to the complaint about the inspections not being valid, attached (copy ot BCA for review) is the original passing inspections dated 5/3/23. In the state of MO we have 60 days to sell a vehicle with a valid safety inspection and 120 days to sell a vehicle with a valid emissions inspection. The sale date was 6/16/23. After the sale date the inspections are still valid for an additional 30 days to allow time for the buyer to complete their transaction with the DMV. We were well under our 60 days when we sold it. If Mr. King was told differently at the DMV perhaps his complaint should be filed against them. To go above and beyond when Mr. King insisted he needed a new inspection we had a new safety and emission performed and at no cost to him. About a short in the electrical here is my understanding, when Mr. King leans on the cetner console the radio sometimes goes out. If this is the case we will give him 30 days from August 8th 2023 to contact our General Sales Manager Mike Price 636.524.3131 or the managers email box at sales@carterautoplaza.com and make an appoint with the shop we use and attempt to resolve his issue. However, the short has to be able to be performed on demand. It has to do what ever it is doing when Mr. King brings it in to the shop we use. No mechanic can fix something that is operating as it should. Also, if Mr, King acts with extreme disrespect to us or to our shop as he did when we gave him an additional free inspection that was not needed he will be turned away. Our third party young lady at the count of the shop we use does not deserve to be treated wrongly any more than our employees do.
