This towing company towed my car from around the corner from my house where the accident occurred. They towed it all the way to their impound. They charged me $440. My son who is an inexperienced driver wasn't aware or in his right state of mind when he left the car to be towed without taking the personal effects out of the car. Inside of the car I had a set of heavy duty jumper cables, a couple of basketballs. A few tools. House keys . My sons college admissions papers mysterious disappeared also.. I called the gentleman men about my items he denied any one took the items. He then hung the phone up on me.. I had another tow truck company tow the car from them. The company southern car is a company I have worked with over 15 years. I asked Pete, the owner to collect my belongings out of the car. He assured me there was no such items within the car. Resolution Sought I would like my heavy duty cables returned. I also thought the towing fee was excessive. If nothing else, I want my cables.

Company states: We did not remove anything from this car while it was in our possession. The fees are towing plus storage each day it was here. When Pete come the first time he did not pick up the car because of the damage to the vehicles from the wreck. We told him they could get their money back and bring title to car since it was not repairable. They still had the vehicle picked up. Again we never removed anything from the vehicle

They never explained that they would not charged me if I didn't pick the car up. That conversation never happened. If no one entered the vehicle, then why are my things missing? Things don't go missing on their own. Again, I am really interested in is my cables.

I never got the info on the customers response. We never spoke to the customer after the initial time the payment was made. We told the wrecker driver Pete they could get money back. Again we never went int the car while in our possession and do not have his cables.
