On February 20, 2025 I watched an engaging video on Facebook that was advertising a weight loss product named Mounja Burn. Although it was more expensive than I thought it would be, I paid $188.95 for 3 bottles. As soon as I clicked on the Buy button, another video began saying if you don't buy 6 month's supply, the product won't work. I began trying to call Cartpanda, who is the platform for this product. I could never get anyone to answer a phone call. I emailed them explaining as a senior citizen, there is no way I can afford this product for 6 months and since the charge was still pending at my bank, please cancel my order and credit my card. On 2/21 they responded and said the product had been shipped. I knew it hadn't been shipped at that time, since I received 3 emails from them within that hour offering me numerous deals to purchase more of the products to add to my shipment. They offered me 35 refund, or full refund if I return the product once it arrived, and then emailed 5 minutes later with 50 refund offer. They told me if I returned it, they charge 15 restocking fee (never mentioned until that email). I asked what I need to do to return shipment, & I wasn't told anything. On March 1st, I returned the package ($11. more) and contacted the company. They asked for an RMA #, which was never mentioned before this. I am still waiting to hear something from Cartpanda, but doubt they plan to contact me again. Now I have no product & no refund. Resolution Sought I would like the full refund they promised in the advertisements.

I received an email from Cartpanda (#99034954) today stating they are refunding my money. I thought it was probably another scamming tactic they were using. However, when I checked my bank account, the refund is showing as of today it is pending. I am so grateful to Business Consumer Alliance for your intervention on my behalf. I am totally overwhelmed with relief and peace of mind knowing this scamming company, Cartpanda, has one less victim. The two weeks that I dealt with them created unbelievable stress and anger towards them, as well as towards myself, that I fell for their unscrupulous sales pitch. I'm amazed how well thought out and sophisticated scams have become and how easy it is is for consumers, who want to believe the product will work, to quickly become victims. Luckily my Google search for consumer fraud assistance led me to your organization who has achieved a miracle in my opinion. I had just about given up hope of getting Cartpanda to refund my money, but I told them I wouldn't ever give up trying to find someone to listen to my story and I achieved that.
