We are currently in the process of installing shut off valves to each individual building. This project will eliminate having to shut off the entire water supply for the property when working on plumbing repairs. Throughout the entire process we have been diligent with communicating with all residents. We had previously sent an email on April 3, 2024, informing all residents that the shut off valve project would begin. Additionally, the email stated that an email with additional details would follow soon after. Later, on April 5, an email was sent to all residents detailing the project would begin on April 9, 2024, and would continue through the beginning of May 2024. The email also stated that the water supply would be suspended every Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 9 am to 5 pm for the duration of the project and that there could be unforeseen circumstances that would cause a delay in restoring water by 5 pm but our staff would work around the clock to restore water as planned. On April 9, 2024, residents received an email that the water service was unable to be restored at 5 pm as planned. However, the service was back up before 7 pm. On April 11, water was again unable to be restored until 10:35 am on April 12. The cause of this delay was due to a considerable size leak that took longer than expected to resolve. Residents were kept up to date via email as to when the water service would be back up or any new developments. Regular reminders have been sent out since then as the project continues to move forward. We anticipate the project to be completed as planned and are certain that this investment will be beneficial for all of our residents.
