I attended Catherine College - Business on 12/1989 choosing the major course of Executive Secretarial, which would have been a Certificate for attending a total of two years, which consisted the total amount of 1,800 hours. I completed all of my classes, with the exception of the last class, to receive my certificate, which was "Speed Writing." I was not able to complete accordingly because the Speed Writing Teacher, worked as a Secretary, for the City of Los Angeles and all she did was converse during my daily 3 hours of the evening lecture. One evening while I drove in from Garden Grove, California I read a notice, in front of the door, to the school, which was located upstairs, on the 2nd floor. Not one prior notice was ever served. After monitoring for many years going online to find out the reason, I discovered a legal document, via online that United States Department of Education had ordered the closure of Catherine College - Business. Several weeks later I received a large manilla envelope containing my student booklet payment booklets, regardless that I did not receive my Certificate or was informed of the school closing down. I did not even get notified by my student loan carrier, which at the time was not the one I currently have. Then that student loan carrier sold my account to Sallie Mae and while I worked for the "Best Hotel in the World," in the Human Resources Department, I was forced to consolidate four loans of $2,500 each, into two loans. Resolution Sought I have been homeless for 15 years and have had much trouble making ends meet and so forth. I would like to request that my two student loans, totalling almost $13K, be forgiven. I recently received an email from Mr. Miguel Cardona, stating that the U.S. Department was going to honor my request, but that the request from Biden, in regards to Student Loan Forgiveness, was being denied by the Republicans.
