On 7/16/22 I ordered windows from Champion with a cost of $5483.00 through their lender of choice Greensky. I was advised that half was to be paid at the time of order and the balance to be paid after installation. On 8/15/22 I received a call from the installation manager telling me that before the order could be placed I needed to provide them with a letter from my HOA. After exchanges on why it took them so long to notify me I was told that employees there had been fired and he was new. I canceled my order and although I was told my cancellation cost would be 5 I was charged 30. Yesterday I was offered to get a rewrite on my contract in order to recover the 30 charge. This is an outrage and an attempt to bully me. I do believe that is why I was charged 30 instead of 5. A contract should not exempt any business from operating in a professional manner Resolution Sought Refund the remaining $1644.
