I cancelled a trip in which I got full insurance on to do so. They confirmed on 5/7/21 by phone with Victor that I would receive $2,403.35 back on my credit card. That is after the beginning cost I paid of $3,524.92 in which I was told I took full insurance out for any reason. So taking off the $320.46 cost of insurance becomes $3,204.46 and then I was told I got 75 percent of that which was the $2,403.35. This was confirmed by Victor within 60 days to be back on my card. He said to call back within that time if not back on card. He said he took care of everything for me and no need to call anyone else such as insurance since I asked to make sure. I called on 6/12/21 because we were going on a trip in the US since my husband was a heart patient and his Doctor didn't advise him to go out of the county with COVID-19. We wanted to get the credit back on my card ASAP to travel in the US. I spoke with Hector who was a supervisor and seemed helpful at the time. He was able to get $1,756.24 credited to my card but said he was tired and going to be off all weekend and would get back on this the next week and get with me when the $647.11 remaining would be credited. Never heard anything from him after many emails and calls. I spoke with Andreas today on 7/7/21 which is 60 days later from cancellation. He messaged Laura and she said we couldn't get that back. I can't believe they didn't back up what an employee confirmed w us on 5/7/21. I am still owed $647.11 to my card. Resolution Sought Credit my card back the $647.11. This was confirmed with Victor on 5/7/21 by phone.
