Chesapeake Health complaints

10/29/2018 was in car accident. I have medicare and a secondary insurance. My insurance has paid my bills. All except one bill from Chesapeake Radiology. This was for a doctor for xrays and head scan. From beginning radiology has been sending me to date for this $175.00 bill. I have been in contact with them thru this whole procedure. It is now 2021 and they are sending me still this bill. They were suppose to resubmitted, this bill again a year later, 2020. Medicare and my secondary never received a bill for this doctor to be paid. As they never sent out the bill. So again here I am getting this bill again in 2021 and being sent into collection. My insurance paid all other bills for me and my husband in the hospital but not for this doctor from radiology. I have won my settlement, and as I understand all bills must be paid before you can settle. I was told by Chesapeake Hospital I owed nothing. The other insurance that paid out also had a problem with this bill and it looked like they were second dipping. This is a mess and it is sad that I am still being stressed out from this car accident from 10/29/2018. I was told by Chesapeake Radiology that they would conside it wash as after so much time passed the bill will be denied for insurances, cause of lapse of time. I feel that Chesapeake Radiology did not do their job to send in bill and are trying to hold me responsible for their faults. Resolution Sought Take responsibility for their mistake. I owe nothing. This is why I have insurance. They paid all the other bills. How can they pay if the bill was never submitted.
