Customer Complaint

We had a leak for years on their end at the meter and kept on saying it was on the landlords end. There was repairs made and they didn't adjust our bill as promised. They said since the leak was so long that they said it was our average water usage but that was not true. They even sent post cards saying I had a leak that was running 24 hours. I called numerous times and they claimed they was putting in work orders. The last time they was out was in December the call was on the 7th, but no one came out until the 24th. I have been going back and forth with them about my bills being so high for years. I think I should have credit on my bill now. Resolution Sought Give me credit that i deserve because they have been told for months that turned to years about the leak at the meter. I should have credits and should not be getting disconnected today and not charged $45 additional to the bill of $103.22 January 16.2024

We cannot do that adjustment for the customer. The customer wants a credit for December's bill, but that bill is lower than any bill in the past 6 months. Policy consumption is: She has to consume more than 2,000 gallons more than her past 6months average. She has another bill after Dec.'s bill, which we can adjust because it falls within our policy. We will adjust the bill that qualifies for the adjustment.
