I recently placed a down payment for a new Chevy truck 2500 custom. No written agreement was made, however through verbal discussion I was told that the deposit was refundable. Unforeseen circumstances arose and I need to cancel the order. When I reached out to the salesman I am now being told that the deposit is non -refundable. I have asked to speak to a manager to resolve the issue, however no one has reached out to me. I have worked with other dealers in the past and have never had an issues. Resolution Sought Refund the deposit.

On August 23, 2022 Mr. Gullick agreed to purchase an inbound 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The salesperson Justin Pellegrino and Mr. Gullick agreed to terms to purchase the incoming vehicle. He was told at that time the deposit was non-refundable as it is our companies policy. Mr. Gullick did call in regarding getting his deposit back due to "unforeseen circumstances". Upon our investigation we found out that Mr. Gullick went to Ferman Chevrolet and traded vehicles knowing he had a deal with Chevrolet Center. We do not feel that the deposit should be refunded. Once we have a deal on an in-transit vehicle and take a non-refundable deposit from that customer, we take it off our website and mark it sold to all other potential customers. We now have lost potential customers to sell that vehicle to. That is why we have a non-refundable policy in place.
