I have taken my truck twice to Christopher Dodge where I purchased it. It sat there for six days and didn't get the service necessary. I picked it up and they made me an appointment for a few weeks later. I took it back and dropped it off the night before my appointment. It sat there for an additional 4-5 days . After misplacing instructions on bypassing my interlock breath device which I was charged $75.00to bypass interlock, (which added another day of my truck sitting there and not being worked on) They finally found the instructions to bypass my interlock breath device (which they had when I dropped it off the first time) and they did the diagnostic. They told me it would be an additional 5-7 days before they could get parts and that I could go pick it up and bring it back when parts are in but I'd have to pay $75 AGAIN to disconnect interlock. These delays were a result Christopher Dodges service department inability to complete job the SECOND time and AGAIN inconvenienced me to be without my truck for ten+ days and to keep having to take truck back in to get worked on and fixed. I don't feel I should be charged the $75.00 again to get my truck fixed. Resolution Sought Not charge me the $75.00 bypass charges

Customer is upset because he has an interlock system from a DUI. It requires additional time spent to remove and reinstall. Service Manager has explained this several times. Customer refuses to agree that he should pay for this non-factory equipment that has been installed due to his actions. Customer was only charged for this service when we actually worked on the vehicle. The first time the customer arrived, we never charged him because we were not able to work on the vehicle due to his time constraints. The customer was charged this fee twice, for two service visits. He will be charged this fee for as long as he has the interlock installed in his vehicle as required by state law.
