I exchange my Nissan Murano 2016 for a Ford escape 2017 on November 2022 and since then I have problems with the car. I only received a print from Carfax. They gave me $12,000 for my Nissan Murano and charged me a lot of money for a used and defective vehicle with a manufacture defect , which I was unaware..a month and a half after I purchased Painting the windshield Peeled off, In July 2023, the air Conditioner stopped working. . It wasn't the car dealership for month and a half by Do you know? the time it was fixed. Then October the front wheel and the passenger side fell off while I was driving on route 22 that towards the exit to Nazareth Turnpike at 60 miles an hour full of vehicles on the road. I was very lucky I didn't die or killed anybody. The state police game are very aggressive towards me. He removed me from my car and took me to safety next to his car. The tow truck came and advise us that all the Screws on my tire was loose we took to Cioca Subaru In Allentown to be fixed because it was closer to my house. They didn't have the tire to fix. They told me to buy a tire at Walmart and bring it to them so they could put the tire in the car, they didn't have the tool to fix it so they had to send to Cioca Ford Quakertown, there was something wrong with the car that caused the wheel to fall off and that they charge my insurance for everything. My car was there for 2 1/2 months A week later, all the lights pop out saying that the emergency is off to take the car to the Resolution Sought I want a full refund for what I pay for this car and for all the services that me and my insurance paid for since this car could've have caused my death and others . Most likely this car is not even legal. I spoke to many managers and they refused to take the car back plus want to charge me more to exchange for another car.

Company states; To address the concerns expressed within the complaint, please refer to the following: The retail NADA value of the 2017 Escape was $18,025. The vehicle was purchased at a sale price of $17,490, before adding in the payoff on the trade, sales tax, tags, any protection products purchased, ect.. The customer was provided copies of all of the paperwork signed during the transaction the day of purchase. Mrs. Anderer called in on 11/16/23, stating she never received copies of the paperwork. On 11/16/23, we emailed her another set of copies of the paperwork for her record. Regarding the paint defect, the vehicle was outside of any corrosion warranty from the manufacturer meaning that the paint issue is not a defect. We provided her the option of getting the vehicle repaired at her expense through our collision center, which she declined. Customers are required to drive, demonstrate, and visually inspect the vehicle to their satisfaction prior to finalizing the transaction. 'In July 2023, the air Conditioner stopped working. It wasn't at the car dealership for month and a half, do you know? the time it was fixed. I'm not sure what the concern is there but the AC repair was paid for by the dealership's complimentary warranty the customer was provided. I have the RO attached (upon request). I can provide more details if their' s clarification on this porting of the complaint. The pre-owned vehicle, approximately a year after purchase, had a wheel hub failure. The vehicle was towed into our Ciocca Subaru Service Center in Allentown. The vehicle had wheel locks on it, Subaru did not have the wheel lock key in their facility so it was towed to Ciocca Ford of Quakertown to have the repairs completed. The vehicle needed a wheel hub as well as additional repairs from the failure of the hub. The customer states this was covered by their insurance. We could not replace the tire brand to match what was on the vehicle due to it being a brand we do not carry, customer declined alternative repair options (different tires). We have offered to trade the customer out of the vehicle a couple of times now, however no agreement has been reached due to limitations from the customer. When purchasing any vehicle, it is the responsibility of the owner to maintain the vehicle to ensure operation and safety. Due to the customer failing to repair the vehicle prior to complete failure of the part, we will not be refunding the customer for the purchase of the vehicle. If there are any other concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out for clarification. Best Regards, Ciocca Ford of Quakertown

Customer Rebuttal

That’s a lie. I was never told about the manufacture defect until I took the car to the dealership to have the air conditioner fix. Only the air conditioner was fix under the warranty everything else was charged under my insurance. Their service representative told me about the manufacture defects and told me that had a recall for that car. If I knew that at the time of purchase I would never had bought it, but then two months later, the wheels fell off and the car could have caused my death or the others , after being at the dealerships for two and a half months being fix a week later all the lights in the car pops out and it is until now saying that there is problems with the car, the breaks haven’t been working right since that time either and no the paperwork was not correct. I had problems doing the registration for my car because of it. The service person had to figure out the paperwork then send it to me a year later. I want a full refund for this LEMON and for the services which my insurance and I was charged and that has been endangering my life and others as soon as possible because something worse than the wheels falling off happens.
