I do not recommend Porsche to any new users because they will take advantage of you.
My boss experience: "I am very upset on how Porsche Dealers and Porsche USA operates. They take advantage of women at the point of sale and after the deal is closed, they move on, uncaring about what may develop. A very 'high end' car should require a higher level of concern and responsibility. Case in point is that Porsche mechanics did not use the proper procedures to diagnose my car sensor issue. The mechanic told me that "it was a pest incident," in that it was "rodent damage" to the airbag wires being eaten, and that was not covered under any Porsche warranty. The cost to fix was estimated at over $1200. I called Porsche USA and they told me to go to a second Porsche dealer. This wasn't what I wanted to do—or should be required to do. Instead, I went to get a second opinion from a different mechanic who told me that the wire was not properly connected or installed—not a pest issue. The issue was fixed and resolved through this second mechanic, which cost me $520 to get the air bag sensors fixed opposed to $1,200+ from the Porsche dealer. I tried every method of communication and nothing was resolved from the Porsche USA. After an outgoing email communication back to back with Rayna (Porsche USA customer service), Rayna did not pass on my issue and concern to upper management. Her judgment and action made it clear she (and of course Porsche USA) did not care about my business. I do not recommend Porsche to any new users because they will take advantage of you.
