make them have to accept every form of payment or change the name and dont treat customers like scum

I had a circle k gift card and stopped at the dixon blvd circle k on Christmas eve and i was embarrassed because i only had a circle k gift card and was told i could not use it because it owned privately not thru corporate but there uniforms say circle k and everything around the store says circle k if they are not going to honor gift cards then they should not have the name of a store that i have a gift card for
